We are thrilled to welcome you to the Spartan Crew Program, the next evolution of our volunteer program! We provide a range of roles and opportunities through our various shifts.
SPARTAN CREW POINTS are tallied according to shifts completed.
How do I sign up for my crew shift?
You can sign up for your Crew shift on the event page online or complete this express of interest form.
How do I earn crew points?
* Spartan Races; At events as part of the New Racer experience program/Information tent, Festival area activation and Obstacle training in field.
*Spartan Support, Spartan Crew & Spartan Crew Team Leader
*Bump in and bump out Spartan Crew Member
*Activations; Expos, Conferences, Work Out Tours, fates etc Promoting events
*Spartan Support after three half day shifts will get Spartan Crew merch upgrade
*Spartan Crew after 10 half day shifts will get Spartan Crew Leader merch upgrade
*Once a volunteer reaches 30 points, you will be eligible to become a Spartan Ambassador
What are the guidelines?
Points will be tracked by Spartan Race Australia, NZ & Fiji and updated quarterly, starting in October 2024, and running for a race year.
What this means is that points earned in October to December 2024 count as part of the 2025 program.
If you don’t want to accumulate points, you’ve got options:
Volunteer Full Day Shift: Get a free race code for the current events on sale (Sprint / Super / Best / Kids)
Volunteer Half-day Shift: Receive a 50% discount for the current events on sale.(Sprint / Super / Best / Kids)
Race Today, Volunteer Tomorrow: Redeem your discount for the current event.
Not Racing? Swap your code for a $50 or $100 merch voucher, usable anytime.
How many crew points do I earn per shift?
Half-Day Shift - 50% off race voucher OR $50 off merch voucher OR 4 points
Full Day Shift - 100% off race voucher OR $100 off merch voucher OR 8 points
How many points do I need to redeem?
Good news! You can redeem your crew points to any of our brands and vouchers are transferable to family or friends.

15 points: Free Hurricane Heat code for you or to give away*
15 points: Free SPRINT code (any heat type) for you or to give away*
20 points: Free SUPER code (any heat type) for you or to give away*
25 points: Free BEAST code (any heat type) for you or to give away*
30 points: Free ULTRA code (any heat type) for you or to give away*
60 points: Free Trifecta Pass (any heat type) code for you (not transferable unless approved by Spartan Race Australia,NZ & Fiji)
150 points: Free Season Pass for next year (not transferable unless approved by Spartan Race Australia,NZ & Fiji)
500 points: Free Trip to Fiji Trifecta Weekend for you (not transferable unless approved by Spartan Race Australia,NZ & Fiji)**

20 points: Free DEKA Fit code (any heat type) for you or to give away *(Excludes affiliate events)
Tough Mudder
15 points: Free TM 5K code
20 points: Free TM 15K code
30 points: Free TM Infinity code
Highlander
60 points: Free Highlander pass (any heat type) for you or to give away*
How can I redeem my crew points?
The Crew Manager or Team Leader at the Volunteer Tent will ask you to choose your reward after your volunteer shift - either race voucher or merch voucher or you may choose to add it to your crew points.
Once you are ready to redeem, please email our Crew Support on volunteer@spartanrace.com.au.
What else do you need to know?
*All points and codes are transferrable
*Trip to Fiji will include return economy airfare for 1 person, entry to all Fiji races (any heat type), 5 nights accommodation and airport transfers
*Subject to availability at time of redemption. If unavailable, Spartan Race Australia, NZ & Fiji will provide merchandise gift of equivalent value
*Surprise perks at Spartan Race Australia, NZ & Fiji discretion based on overall performance above 600 points.
*Points can be used as Spartan Currency to purchase Spartan Merch. Merch vouchers can be transferred 2 points = $1
*The minimum age to be an unsupervised Spartan Crew member and earn points is strictly 14 years old. Any child under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult, and whilst we
encourage them to help out and get involved, the perks and rewards of the volunteer program do not apply.
